ALWAYS YOU

ALWAYS YOU

BY KIRSTY MOSELEY

Genre: Teen Fiction
Recommended Age: No one
Goodreads rating: 4.06
My Rating: DNF

Riley Tanner has a best friend, the best friend a girl could ask for. He’s supportive, loyal, honest, trustworthy, kind, and thoughtful. He’s also the biggest player in school.

Their relationship has always been easy and affectionate, but after Riley’s month long vacation, things become a little strange. She starts to look at him in ways that go way beyond the ‘friend zone’. Add in her best friend’s rival, and things become a whole lot more complicated.

Now I don't usually write reviews on books I didn't finish but this book got me so frustrated I think it warranted for one.

I'm up to chapter 3 and I'm just done with this book. It's defiantly going on my DNF pile.

I liked the idea for the storyline and I really love best friend romances so I was hopeful for this book. However, as soon as Blake came in it just turned into the most predictable plot, and I was just getting bored. Love triangles do not make an interesting story line!

The dialogue was just appalling- I've read Wattpad books that are better than this and that's saying something.

The characters were extremely dense I felt like knocking their heads together. We all know giving each other hickeys to mark your territory is a sure sign of friendship! *exasperated sigh*

How anyone could stand these two enough to even finish this book needs a pat on the back, I can only think it was determination to finish that could get someone to read it all as it definitely wasn't the 'original' storyline or the 'relatable' characters.

I will not be recommending this book
