Loren Hale’s best friend is his bottle of bourbon. Lily comes at a close second. For three years, they’ve pretended to be in a real relationship, hiding their addictions from their families. They’ve mastered the art of concealing flasks and random guys that filter in and out of their apartment.

But as they sink beneath the weight of their addictions, they cling harder to their destructive relationship and wonder if a life together, for real, is better than a lie. Strangers and family begin to infiltrate their guarded lives, and with new challenges, they realize they may not just be addicted to alcohol and sex.

Their real vice may be each other. 

Wow, this book surprised me! I've read other books in the past about sex addicts and i'm not gonna lie, they were done poorly and portrayed them as little more than sluts and whores who just wanted a good time. But this book was very different. 

At first the book frustrated me with all the meaningless sex Lily has and how dependant Loren was on alcohol, but as the book progressed I started to empathise with the characters and I loved the journey they both took as they battled their addictions. 

The book took a positive turn when new characters were added; Conner and Ryke. Not only did they had drama but I finally had someone I could will to try and change Lily and Lorens addictions. Connor was, although a insensitive jerk, really did amuse me and many times I found myself smiling at the book. 

Don't get me started on Ryke *swoon* Where can I get someone as caring and determined as him? Not to mention hot. His determinination to try and help Loren was so heart warming and I hope anyone going through a similar thing has someone has awesome as him. 

I'm going to carry on reading this series plus the spin off series as well.
